FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES NOW................ If you plan on playing for FZW Hockey club this upcoming season 12-13 you should know....... that you can start paying your upcoming hockey fees now. We have a signed contract with Verizon to work the concession stands during concerts and earn money. All proceeds you earn with your hours worked will go straight to your account !! Several members got this opportunity last year and it is a big help. You will need to attend an Orientation class and a Tips class before you can start earning money so please contact Marsha Timme at hckymom90@yahoo.com ASAP for information.

IN THE ARCHIVES 2011-2012 Season: Marquette Pre-season Tournament Sept 2011: The varsity Jags didn't fair too well in the Marquette tournament this year, losing all three games, but we are just getting started ! Go Jaguars !!!
Lafayette JVD Pre-Season tournament Sept 2011: The JVD Jaguars manage to handle their opponents well and finish third overall and earned a spot in the play-off semi final game. They played well but lost 4-2 to Lindbergh. Good job Jags !!

INDIANAPOLIS TOURNAMENT - Jan 13-16, 2012: The Varsity and JV Jaguars competed in this tournament and did very well. The varsity team had two wins and two ties and earned their spot in the Championship game but lost to the Stallions 3-1. The JV Jaguars had 3 wins and one loss and earned their spot in the JV Campionship game and WON !! CONGRATS on a job well done. This weekend was full of fun and some awesome Jaguar hockey !!!
Winter Classic - Jan 21, 2012 - this event took place at Shaw Park where they celebrated the 50th year for the outdoor ice rink. The event is by invitation from Mid States and the Jaguars got to play in this event. The Varsity Jags lost to FHC but it was a beautiful day!! The air was chilly but the sun was shining. Club members, fans, and players enjoyed their day.
Senior Night - Jan 27 - Thank you to all the Seniors and their parents for a great night. We wish the Seniors the best of luck in their future. The Club RAffle was finalized this night. Congrats to our club members Svetina, Timme, and Patterson for winning our raffle prizes.
The Varsity Jaguars won the #2 seed in the Wick Cup in the mid States hockey league. Varsity won the first round of The Wick playoffs in their games Feb 3 and Feb 4 against FZN. Both games had a score of 4-1. The Jaguars moved on to the second round against Whitfield. In the Second round of playoffs the Jaguars met Whitfield and lost their two games despite a good effort. Game one ended 4-3 and game two ended 3-1.
The JV Jaguars met Vianney in the first round of the Gold division playoffs and the game was quite exciting! The game ended in a 3-3 tie and after over time the teams were still tied. A shoot out determined the winning team and the Jaguars moved on to play the Oakville Tigers. In the game against Oakville the Jaguars skated to a 4-0 loss. This season the JV Jaguars finished 8th overall in the mid states JV league earning them a spot in the top bracket for the first time in the past several years!
The JVD Jaguars (B league) did very well in there end of the season Bronze tournament. JVD PLAYOFFS: Game #1 FZW 3 v. Holt 0, Congrats on a first round win! The boys came to play in what was probably their best game of the season. Game #2 FZW v. Fox, Fenton Ice, 11:30 AM, Saturday March 10, 2012. Congrats on your win!
